The description of Swiss Post App
The Post-App provides helpful features and practical information on Swiss Post’s services.
An overview of the functions:
Login: Use the Swiss Post customer login for direct access to online services in the app. The login will remain valid for 1 year for protected devices (PIN, fingerprint, Face ID) and 60 days for unprotected devices.
Push function: The push function provides you with the latest information about Swiss Post as well as personal information about upcoming consignments from “My consignments”.
CODESCANNER – can be accessed via “scan” at the top right:
With the scan function, you can scan the barcodes and QR codes on consignment documents or enter the consignment numbers manually. In addition, several stamps are scannable, allowing access to additional information.
The app determines your location (active GPS) and indicates the nearest branch, Postomats, PickPost points, among other things. The location search remains available even when your GPS is deactivated. Assign favourites and always have their current opening hours and collection times available.
TRACK & TRACE:
You can scan barcodes on letter mail, international consignments and parcels, and QR codes on mailing receipts. The consignment number is then entered automatically in the track & trace overview. To improve the overview, you can add your own text to the numbers of the listed consignments. You can also forward the consignment number.
pick@home – HAVE PARCELS COLLECTED AT HOME
With pick@home, the parcel carrier simply collects consignments from your home or another address. Scan the pick@home consignment code of your goods returns and the order process will start in the app.
Prices for the most frequently used products are immediately at hand. For more specific consignments, you can use the mail calculator to calculate the costs for shipping within Switzerland and abroad.
Have you saved your login in the app and activated the “My consignments” service? This ensures that you will always have an up-to-date overview of all the consignments you receive. If you activate Push notifications, you will be informed proactively about the progress of the consignment.
Have you received a letter with a video symbol on the stamp? Simply open the scanner, scan the code and watch the video.
Have your mail retained until you return.
Is there a collection note in your letter box? Using the scan function, simply scan the code field on the collection note – then you can select further delivery options.
Fast and easy access to the Swiss Post Contact Center. You can now also contact the chatbot 24/7.
In your personal data you manage the LOGIN and PUSH SETTINGS.
The Post-App is available in four languages (EN, DE, FR, IT) and the language adapts automatically to the smartphone’s system language. If the device language does not match one of the four languages offered, it must be selected manually in a dialogue window.
Use this function to send us direct feedback on the app. We reserve the right to include important information about your device configuration in the e-mail so that we can better address problems.
